Dr. Michael Schecter brings over 20 years of experience in dentistry, with a career defined by precision, innovation, and patient-centered care.
After practicing and traveling in New Zealand, he has returned to his hometown of Toronto with a renewed perspective and an expanded skill set. His clinical focus is on implant dentistry and full-mouth restoration, helping patients reclaim confidence, function, and long-term health through advanced, integrative treatment planning. Known for his thoughtful and holistic approach, Dr. Schecter combines technical expertise with a commitment to prevention and whole-body wellness.
At Rooted Dental, he is dedicated to creating a practice where care runs deeper — blending science, artistry, and compassion to deliver results that last a lifetime.
From a young age, Dr. Schecter was deeply fascinated by health, healing, and the interconnectedness of the body.
While training in dentistry, he also studied naturopathic and homeopathic principles, recognizing early on that true wellness comes from integrating both science and nature.
This foundation shaped his lifelong commitment to a holistic approach to care — one that blends advanced clinical dentistry with whole-body awareness, prevention, and mindful healing.
